Hello, I’m JJ. I love birds and the trees they call home and learning everything there is to know about them as well as the beautiful world we share with them. I also love sharing that knowledge with whoever will listen. In my previous career as a security professional working in hospitals I did not always have the best audience for this. So I am thrilled to join PVAS and be able to enrich my life and others with this passion. One of the biggest inspiration for this passion is my years of volunteering at a youth camp in Crivitz, WI. I was born in Wisconsin and attended this camp every summer with my family as a child, and I have continued to volunteer as a Counselor and now a Senior Staff member. While at home in Martinsburg, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend Sally and our four roomates: Penny & Pepa (canines) and Buster & Jack (felines). We both love to spend time in the yard with our plants and trees and the birds and bees. And we both love live music so we attend concerts in our area when we have the chance.
