You’re invited to an afternoon of wine tasting on the beautiful trails of Cool Spring Preserve!
Stroll along our mowed paths that wind through the woods, stopping at three wine tasting stations. There will be a variety of different wines for you to sample and learn more about, as well as lite fare to enjoy. As you sip your wine, there will also be an opportunity to learn about what makes Cool Spring Preserve so unique. Discover the rare plants and animals that make the marsh and Bullskin Run special, see our efforts to restore a meadow to benefit pollinators, and observe how an old orchard transitions to a forest.
We look forward to welcoming you to our gorgeous nature preserve, while staying committed to offering this event in a safe environment, following all the local, state and federal guidelines. Special considerations will be made to ensure physical distancing, timed arrivals, and self-guided ‘tours’ with your quarantine group. Individual, single-use wine glasses will be provided at each tasting station, and individual tasting treat packages will be provided to each attendee.
When registering, please select the arrival time that best suits your schedule. Please contact our Adult Programs Coordinator, Krista Hawley, at adultprograms@potomacaudubon.org or 681-252-1387 with any questions you may have.
