July Wellness Walk – CHANGE OF LOCATION
Tuesday, July 12, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
CHANGE OF LOCATION – details below
Wellness Walk Guide, Krista Hawley, Adult Program Coordinator
This event is free and open to the public; however, registration is required.
Let’s get outside and walk the trails together!
With an eye on staying mentally and physically healthy, Krista hopes you will join her on her monthly Wellness Walks at the PVAS Preserves and beyond!
Everyone is welcome to join our Wellness Walks! Please wear comfortable walking shoes and know that if it has been rainy, the trails may be wet and muddy in spots.
CHANGE OF LOCATION: The Walk will now take place on the C&O Canal at Antietam Creek Campground. The group will meet on the towpath at Antietam Creek Campground closest to Antietam Creek. There is plenty of parking along the road. Once you park, walk towards the access to the Canal and towards the bridge over Antietam Creek (aqueduct). Krista will be near the parking and looking out for you.
If you are still interested in visiting Stauffer’s Marsh to enjoy the Pollinator Meadow in its full glory, you may wish to join PVAS’s BioBlitz at the Marsh on Saturday, July 23rd. Registration is free and everyone is welcome to join.
Please contact Krista Hawley at AdultPrograms@PotomacAudubon.org or 681-252-1387 with any questions you may have.
