Let’s get outside and walk the trails together!
We are excited to explore a shady new venue for our August Wellness Walk. The trails at the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship are in great condition and offer plenty of respite from the sun on a hot summer day.
The trail we will walk is about 1.2 miles in length with some additional side trails if desired. There is a nice stream access and picnic tables if you should choose to stay after for some socializing or an afternoon picnic.
The parking is limited, so carpooling is highly recommended if possible.
With an eye on staying mentally and physically healthy, Krista hopes you will join her on her monthly Wellness Walks at the PVAS Preserves and other local trails. Make sure to check the calendar of events for other upcoming Wellness Walks.
Everyone is welcome to join our Wellness Walks! Please wear comfortable walking shoes and know that if it has been rainy, the trails may be wet and muddy in spots.
The physical address is 11661 Harpers Ferry Rd., Hillsboro, VA 20132 and the group will meet at 10am in the parking lot.
