Volunteer Workday – Trail Prep for This Race is for the Birds!

Help PVAS prep the trails for This Race is for the Birds!
PVAS Host: KC Walters and Katelyn Godfrey
Free and open to the public. For ages 16 and older. Registration is required.
PVMN Volunteer Hours Eligible
**This workday was originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 2 but will now be held on Friday, April 5 due to the rain.**
We will divide up into teams and tackle various portions of the race course. Tasks include clipping branches/roots, setting flags, removing leaves, and scooping poop. Bring your work gloves, a refillable water bottle, and any accessories that will help you stay comfortable! If possible, please bring your own hand tools such as clippers, shovels, lawn rakes, and leaf blowers.
You can register for a morning shift (10 am – noon) or an afternoon shift (1 pm – 3 pm) – or both!

About Katelyn: Katelyn is freshly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies. She is excited about the opportunity to work with PVAS to engage herself and the community in environmental conservation initiatives. In her spare time, she finds joy in diving into fiction novels, exploring local hiking trails, and snuggling her two crazy cats.
