USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center Winter Bird Walk

Join Beth & Alexander for a morning bird walk at USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center!
PVAS Host: Beth Poole & Alexander Kiser
Free and open to the public. This program is for adults only. Registration is required and limited to 10 participants.
Stroll with the birds and other PVAS bird enthusiasts at the USGS center in Leetown! Birders of all experience levels are welcome to join us as we get to know the sights and sounds of our resident birds and some visitors on their migratory paths. The property has a mix of open ponds and woods, with excellent wetland quality and diverse bird species!
The group will be self-paced. The route is generally flat, with some gradual hills.
About our Hosts:
About Beth: Beth is a retired school teacher who has always loved nature and being outdoors, with a passion for birds and gardening. She is an amateur photographer, taking lots of pictures of birds, nature, and family. She adores her two grandchildren!!!
About Alexander: Alex is a Research Biologist with the Eastern Ecological Science Center at the Leetown Research Laboratory. Alex is looking forward to learning more about local birds!
