Free and open to the public. This program is for adults only. Registration is required and limited to 10 participants.

Stroll with the birds and other PVAS bird enthusiasts at the USGS center in Leetown! Birders of all experience levels are welcome to join us as we get to know the sights and sounds of our resident birds and some visitors on their migratory paths. The property has a mix of open ponds and woods, with excellent wetland quality and diverse bird species!

The group will be self-paced. The route is generally flat, with some gradual hills.

Please bring water and wear sturdy shoes.

About our Host: Alex is a Research Biologist with the Eastern Ecological Science Center at the Leetown Research Laboratory. Alex is looking forward to learning more about local birds!
