RESCHEDULED | USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center Spring Bird Walk

Join Lynne & John for a morning bird walk at USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center!
PVAS Host: Lynne Wiseman & John Young
Free and open to the public. This program is for adults only. Registration is required and limited to 10 participants.
Stroll with the birds and other PVAS bird enthusiasts at the USGS center in Leetown! Birders of all experience levels are welcome to join us as we get to know the sights and sounds of our resident birds and some visitors on their migratory paths. The property has a mix of open ponds and woods, with excellent wetland quality and diverse bird species!
The group will be self-paced. The route is generally flat, with some gradual hills.
Please bring water and wear sturdy shoes.
About John: John Young is a Research Biologist (Biogeography/GIS) at the USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center.
About Lynne: Lynne is a retired Realtor and has always had a curiosity about our feathered friends. She has been a member of PVAS for over 35 yrs. and has been a past President. She has also become a Master Naturalist to expand her knowledge of all things nature and to share that knowledge with others by leading bird walks and teaching birding classes.
