Celebrate “This Race is for the Birds” with a special bird walk at the beautiful private Broomgrass Community with birding expert, Wil Hershberger!

This event is open to the public.  Anyone with an interest is welcome to come along, regardless of their birding skills.  Children 12+ are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.  Registration is required and limited to 15 participants.

Broomgrass has a lot to offer from trails that wind through the woods, wide open vistas, broomgrass fields and excellent areas to access the shores of Back Creek. You won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to bird with Wil on the trails of Broomgrass!

Participants should wear sturdy footwear, dress appropriately for the prevailing weather conditions, and bring along water. Binoculars will be available for anyone who needs them.

Please meet by 7:00 am at the front gate of Broomgrass, the walk will last a couple of hours.
