Join Deana and Noah for Nature Journaling!
Field Journaling Guide: Deana Thorsell and Noah Alcantara
PVMN Continuing Education Eligible
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required and limited to 12 participants.
Why not start a new habit or continue building on your Nature Journaling experiences as we
nature journal at Poor House Farm Park. Poor House Farm Park is a popular, spacious park
providing (five acre) Rickard Lake (enjoy the various ducks and geese) and other wildlife and
native plants as you walk the trails.
Dress for the weather and tune in to your senses. Come with your nature journal supplies (pencil
and blank book, other supplies welcome), bug spray, a chair (if you’d like), and water. We’ll
meet in the lower parking lot (near the pavilion) at Poor House Farm Park to say hello, meander
the trails and fields at our own pace, and eventually return back to the parking lot to share what
we found and share techniques and exercises to inspire our nature journal habits. Whether you’ve
been keeping journals for years, or a budding beginner, we welcome you to come out and put
pencil to paper in the company of other enthusiasts.
If you have questions, you can contact Deana at wvdeana@hotmail.com.
