A StoryWalk® is a great way for people of all ages to enjoy reading while spending time outdoors! Pages from a storybook will be attached to signs placed along a trail so people can gradually read the story as they walk the trail. This StoryWalk® will be spread over a trail length of no more than 1/4 mile.
The story at Yankauer Nature Preserve is A Whiff of Pine, a Hint of Skunk: A Forest of Poems, written by Deborah Ruddell and illustrated by Joan Rankin.
Yankauer Nature Preserve is open daily from dawn to dusk.
