A StoryWalk® is a great way for people of all ages to enjoy reading while spending time outdoors! Pages from a storybook will be attached to signs placed along a trail so people can gradually read the story as they walk the trail. This StoryWalk® will be spread over a trail length of no more than 1/4 mile.
The story at Yankauer Nature Preserve is Fairy Dusters and Blazing Stars: Exploring Wildflowers with Children by Suzanne M. Samson.
Yankauer Nature Preserve is open daily from dawn to dusk. Stop by anytime during open hours from Saturday, March 30 through Sunday, April 7 to enjoy the StoryWalk®!
