On the eve of the Spring Equinox, join PVAS staff and volunteers for our spring fundraiser – A Virtual “Walk in the Woods with Wine.”
Enjoy a virtual visit to each of PVAS’s preserves from the comfort of your home. Each ticketed guest will be given a bottle of wine (you may choose red, white or rosé as part of the registration process) and a “goody bag” of delicious savories and sweets, including a treat from DeFluri’s Fine Chocolates. You may also choose to attend this event without receiving wine or a goody bag- The perfect option for our out-of-town guests!
These exclusive virtual visits will provide a sneak peek of some of PVAS staffs’ favorite places at the four preserves managed by PVAS: Cool Spring, Eidolon, Stauffer’s Marsh and Yankauer. Guests will connect through an exclusive room via Zoom, then presented special videos produced just for this event! In addition to learning what makes each place special, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the preserve hosts and each other as you enjoy wine and other special treats in your goody bag.
Wine and goody bag can be picked up March 21st between 10am-12:30pm in the Shepherdstown area (to be determined). “Tickets” are $50/person and includes a gift bag of a bottle of wine, savories and sweets, and exclusive access to the “sneak peek” at the preserves and socializing that will be available using Zoom at 4:30pm on March 21st. All registrants must be 21 years of age.
