Join Wanda Miller and Kathy Bilton, Certified Master Naturalists, for a spring ephemeral wildflower walk at PVAS’s Yankauer Nature Preserve.
Participants will meet at the front pavilion at Yankauer at 10:00am. Directions and more information Yankauer Preserve can be found here: https://www.potomacaudubon.org/preserves/yankauer/
This Wildflower Walk, which is held to coincide with the peak of the spring wildflower season, will offer something for everyone; advanced and beginner/families alike. During April, a wide variety of wildflowers will be on display, including twinleaf, corydalis, rue anemone, bloodroot, spring beauties, Dutchman’s breeches, cut-leaf toothwort and giant chickweed.
The walk will take place on the trails of the preserve, so wear sturdy walking shoes. Children are welcome with adult accompaniment. Please leave pets at home. And thank you for leaving the wildflowers for all to enjoy!
Please contact Krista Hawley at adultprograms@potomacuadubon.org or 681-252-1387 with any questions you may have.

- Registration is required and limited to 15 participants (if you can no longer attend, please notify adultprograms@potomacaudubon.org so that others may attend)
- If you are sick or have been sick within the past two weeks (or been around anyone else that is sick), please stay home
