Join Mary Duke, Wanda Miller and Kathy Bilton, for a spring ephemeral wildflower walk at Yankauer Nature Preserve!
This Wildflower Walk, which is held to coincide with the peak of the spring wildflower season, will offer something for everyone; advanced and beginner/families alike. During April, a wide variety of wildflowers should still be on display, including bloodroot, spring beauties, Dutchman’s breeches, and rue anemone. The trails at Yankauer are primitive, so wear sturdy walking shoes. Children are welcome with adult accompaniment. Please leave pets at home. And thank you for leaving the wildflowers for all to enjoy!
