PVAS Bird Walk Guide: Wil Hershberger
Celebrate “This Race is for the Birds” with a special bird walk at the beautiful private Broomgrass Community with birding expert, Wil Hershberger.
Broomgrass has a lot to offer from trails that wind through the woods, wide open vistas, broomgrass fields and excellent areas to access the shores of Back Creek.
You won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to bird with Wil on the trails of Broomgrass!
Please meet by 7:00 am at the front gate of Broomgrass, the walk will last a couple of hours.
Anyone with an interest is welcome to come along, regardless of their birding skills.

Participants should wear sturdy footwear, dress appropriately for the prevailing weather conditions, and bring along water. Binoculars will be available for anyone who needs them.
The trip may be cancelled in the event of bad weather.

- Registration is $20.00 and is required (Broomgrass residents, please email Krista Hawley at AdultPrograms@PotomacAudubon.org to register)
- If you are sick or have been sick within the past two weeks (or been around anyone else that is sick), please stay home
