We welcome everyone to stop by our Open House for Prospective Master Naturalists on Saturday, December 4th from 2:00 – 2:30pm.

This event is free and open to the public, however registration is strongly encouraged. Please register below.

Have you been wondering how you can help protect West Virginia’s natural resources, educate yourself on a wide variety of Natural History topics and serve your community? Then this open house is for you!

Stop by and learn about the education and volunteer opportunities offered by the WV Master Naturalist Program at the Potomac Valley Audubon Chapter’s Open House. Meet some Master Naturalists, learn about the program and have your questions answered.

Our Master Naturalist Program is for ages 16 years and older.

If you are currently a certified Master Naturalist, please feel free to bring along a friend that might be interested in becoming one as well! All Master Naturalists and MN Candidates will earn Volunteer Hours for attending the Open House.

Immediately following the Open House, Master Naturalist, Dale Kirchner, will lead a Nature Walk on the trails at Cacapon Resort State Park. Everyone is welcome to join this walk and registration for that walk can be found here.
