The Potomac Valley Master Naturalist Annual Meeting, Potluck Lunch and Silent Auction is Saturday, January 25 from 11 am-2 pm.

The purpose of the gathering is to briefly conduct PVMN business, honor our new graduates, and recognize Master Naturalists who have achieved 5-year and 10-years of active membership as well as socialize with others and, of course, eat.

**Bring a dish to share as well as your own plate, cup, napkin and silverware. (We will have extras in case you forget.) Coffee and lemonade will be provided.

In addition, bring something for the Silent Auction! The proceeds from this annual auction provide scholarships to next year’s MN class. Ideas for things to contribute are…just about anything from t-shirts, books, food, field guides, crafts, bird items, and other fun stuff! Most items in the auction are in new or like-new condition. Last year we made over $600, which kept the class fee lower for several of this year’s class. We’re looking to make even more this year! And bring your checkbook so you can bid often and high!!

We also have a book table where used books are available for just $1-$2. Some folks use that table to pass on natural history books/field guides that might be of interest to other MN’s and pick something new at the same time.

The PVMN Coordinating Committee is seeking volunteers to help with the planning and execution of the Chapter’s yearly instructional programming and all of its day-to-day operations…if you have been thinking of joining the Committee, we will have more information available at this meeting!

The scheduled ‘snow date’ is Saturday, February 1, 2020.

From WV Route 9, take the Short Road exit. If traveling east, take a left off the exit. If traveling west, take a right off the exit. Follow to the stop light at Sheetz. Turn right. Take the next left onto Hospice Lane. Follow the road back.

The office will be on your left (the inpatient facility will be on your right). The door to enter for the Annual Meeting is to the right of the main office door. We will have a yellow Audubon sign at the door.
