The MD Forest Service is installing a native wetland shrub buffer along a creek at a farm and needs some extra hands!

Free and open to the public. All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.
- Walking Distance: Less than 1 mile
- Pace: Light to moderate exertion. This workday will include pounding rebar into soft ground and putting live stakes into that hole
- Exposure: Sun
- Terrain: Generally flat, with some steep edges of the creek you can choose to go on
- Restroom: No
- Parking/Where to Meet: Volunteers should meet in the driveway of the farmhouse
- What to Bring: Work gloves and a hammer if you want to bring your favorite one. Please dress for the weather and for outdoor work. Closed-toed shoes are required and layers are recommended. Please bring plenty of water!
