Let’s read and explore together!
PVAS Hosts: KC Walters, Beth and Paul Dobson, Evelyn Gettys, Ellen Murphy
This group is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome to attend. Registration is required.
Join us on a reading adventure this year! We will read a book, have a lively discussion, and then go on a field trip or some other activity pertaining to the book together.
The fall read is Everyone Needs a Mountain: Skylife at Eidolon by Marguerite Wykoff Zapoleon. In November, we will visit Eidolon Nature Preserve. The plan is to meet at Charlotte’s Cafe in Berkeley Spring at 11am for brunch and a book discussion. We will then continue on to Eidolon for a walk after our meal. There is an option to carpool by meeting at 10:15am at the Martin’s in Hedgesville. We plan to return to Hedgesville by 2:30-3:00.
There are copies of this book that are available to borrow at the Case Nature Center at Cool Spring Preserve. If you would like to borrow a copy, please stop by during open hours Tuesday – Friday 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Please feel welcome to call us at (681) 252-1387 if these pickup times do not work for you, if you want to check and see if there are still copies available, or if you have other questions about this event! This book is out of publication and it can be hard to find copies for purchase, so please borrow one from us!
