PVAS Hosts: Ellen Murphy and KC Walters

This group is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome to attend. Registration is required.

Join Ellen and KC on a reading adventure this year!  We will read a book, have a lively discussion and then go on a field trip or do an activity pertaining to the book together.

We will start off this Spring with a reading of The Home Place by J. Drew Lanham.  We will then gather at Cool Spring Preserve on Sunday, April 23 for a lunchtime discussion followed by a walk around the preserve, including an exclusive walk back into the marsh!

Join us for all of the great reads and adventures of 2023:

Summer – An Island Out of Time by Tom Horton, with field trip to Chesapeake Bay

Fall – Everyone Needs a Mountain by Marguerite Zapoleon, with field trip to Eidolon Nature Preserve

Winter – Winter World by Bernd Heinrich, with field trip TBD
