Free summer camp activities in Charles Town!
Join us for storytime, crafts, games and more! Most programs will last about one hour and are best for elementary school-aged youth, though all are welcome!
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is NOT required. Just show up! Would you like to be emailed a reminder a few days before this event or do you have questions?
Please plan to join your camper for the fun – adult supervision is required. Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle! Be prepared with snacks and other things you and your camper will need. No food will be provided, but activity supplies will.
Each session will begin with storytime with the Charles Town librarian! After storytime, Potomac Valley Audubon Society staff will lead other activities like crafts and games! PVAS staff are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, caring, and are certified in First Aid and CPR.
When you are not participating in activities with us, we recommend planning to explore the wonderful space at Evitts Run Park on your own! Entrance into the park is free. The park is located in downtown Charles Town and it is accessible on foot via a pedestrian entrance in the 400 block of W. Washington St. or by vehicle via W. Liberty St. (between N. West and N. Water St.). Learn more about the park here.
