Natural History Workshop: Creating Fall Wreaths with Natural Fibers
Wednesday, November 17, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Wreath Making Workshop Leader: Amy Moore
Everyone is welcome to join this family friendly workshop, however, registration is required and limited to 10 participants; please register below.
Join Amy for this family friendly, fall wreath making workshop where we will use invasive plants at Cool Spring Preserve and transform them into beautiful fall decorations.
The first half of the workshop will be spent identifying and collecting Oriental Bittersweet & Japanese Honey Suckle vines from the preserve while the second half of the program the group will be creating the wreaths.
You are welcome to bring decorations from home to put in your wreath but we will also be providing some dried flowers.
Please wear comfortable shoes for walking the trails of the preserve, bug spray and warm clothes as this will be held exclusively outside. If you like, you may bring your own pruner shears, however some will be available.
If you have any questions, please contact Amy Moore at amy@potomacaudubon.org or call the Cool Spring Preserve landline at 681-252-1387.
