Join Amy for this family friendly, fall wreath making workshop where we will use invasive plants at Cool Spring Preserve and transform them into beautiful fall decorations.
The first half hour of the workshop will be spent identifying and collecting Oriental Bittersweet & Japanese Honey Suckle vines from the preserve while the last hour the group will be creating the wreaths.
You are welcome to bring decorations from home to put in your wreath but we will also be providing some dried flowers.
Please wear comfortable shoes for walking the trails of the preserve, bug spray and warm clothes as this will be held exclusively outside. If you like, you may bring your own pruner shears, however some will be available.
If you have any questions, please contact Krista Hawley at AdultPrograms@PotomacAudubon.org or call the Cool Spring Preserve landline at 681-252-1387.
