Natural History Workshop: Art to Earth; An Ecopsychology Workshop

Join Susan Loonsk for this unique workshop where participants will engage in Ecopsychology concepts through nature and art activities. Students will experience many concepts of Ecopsychology by connecting self to nature through expressive activities.
Participants can expect to gain an understanding of Ecopsychology ideas , and participate in guided meditations, earth walks and an indoor art project.
This workshop is open to the public and no prior meditation or art making experience is needed. However registration is required.
Even if you have previously participated in one of these workshops, all of Susan’s classes have different meditations and art activities. Participants can attend one or all in any sequence as the classes do not build on each other.
Art supplies provided. Participants may bring any favorite water-based paints, or drawing materials of their own if they wish.
This workshop is being held at Cool Spring Preserve in the upstairs classroom as well as on the trails of the preserve. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing and sturdy walking shoes. Bring along drinking water and insect repellent.
