PVAS Hosts: Certified Master Naturalists and the Master Naturalist Coordinating Committee
PVMN Volunteer Hours Eligible
This event is free and open to the public; however, registration is encouraged. Must be 16+ to apply to become a Master Naturalist.
Are you interested in learning about and protecting West Virginia’s natural resources? Then this open house is for you!
We welcome everyone to stop by and learn about the training and volunteer opportunities offered by the WV Master Naturalist Program at the Potomac Valley Chapter’s Open House. Meet some Master Naturalists, see examples of volunteer projects, and have your questions answered.
If you are currently a certified Master Naturalist, please feel free to bring along a friend that might be interested in becoming one as well!
Immediately following the Open House, Master Naturalist, Dale Kirchner, will lead a Nature Walk on the trails at Cacapon Resort State Park.
