Gardening for Butterflies and Butterfly ID Field Trip

Join Penny and Larry Stritch for an educational tour through their butterfly garden where they will discuss butterflies and what plants are beneficial to the butterflies.
Learn what plants attract which butterflies, how to ID butterflies, what butterflies you can expect to see in the eastern panhandle and much more!
If you love to learn about butterflies and their habitat, this is a field trip you will not want to miss.
This walk is free and open to anyone with an interest, however the registration is required and limited to 15 participants.
In the event of poor weather conditions, Saturday, September 1 is the scheduled rain date.
Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes, bring along drinking water, a sun hat and sunscreen.
Directions to the field trip location will be provided in the registration email.
