Garden Clean Up Volunteer Workday at Cool Spring Preserve

Meet the new Land Mangement and Conservation AmeriCorps, Mason, and join him for a “spring cleaning” of the garden beds at Cool Spring Preserve!
PVAS Host: Mason Zeller, AmeriCorps service member
Free and open to the public. For ages 12 and older. All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.

It’s time for the annual spring garden clean up at Cool Spring Preserve. Out with the dead stalks to make room for new growth!
- Walking Distance: Minimal
- Pace: Light and easy
- Exposure: Full sun
- Terrain: Flat garden
- Restroom: There is a port-o-pot onsite
- Parking/Where to Meet: Participants should meet in front of the Nature Center.
- What to Bring: Bring your work gloves, favorite gardening tools, a refillable water bottle, and any accessories that will help you stay comfortable!
Registration will remain open until the start of the program.
About Mason: Mason spent the last two years working as a paralegal in an LA law firm and is eager to get out from behind the desk and get his hands dirty. He holds a degree in political science with a minor in environmental studies and wants to make some real change to protect our planet. In his free time, Mason likes to read, watch movies, go to concerts, and explore local hiking trails.
