Learn about the forces that make mountains, sculpt streams, and power our planet. You’ll explore Earth’s geological forces as we crawl through caves and explore the power of wind as you build your own wind turbine. From beavers to invasive plants, you’ll investigate the many positive and negative ways animals and plants change the landscape. Discover the impact of fire on the environment and practice your fire building skills, too. On Wednesday, campers will go caving at Whitings Neck cave, located near Yankuaer Nature Preserve. Camper drop off/pick up location and arrival/departure time will be the same as other days of the camp week.
