Discovery Camp: Eco-Careers Camp
Monday, June 9 @ 9:00 am - Friday, June 13 @ 3:00 pm
Eco-Careers Camp (entering grades 7-12)
This camp is all about exploring outdoor and environmental careers! Your middle or high school student will meet professionals in their fields, including a freshwater biologist, a science teacher, a herpetologist, and a forester. We will explore all of these career options, and more, while also learning naturalist skills, like how to use a field guide and dichotomous keys to identify plants and animals. Campers will even participate in a box turtle survey with the state herpetologist! This week will also include an off-site day to explore a particular eco-career through meeting professionals and participating in hands-on learning activities.
