Help reroute the Kingfisher Trail after storm damage at Yankauer Nature Preserve!

A severe summer storm has damaged the beloved, huge white oak tree and left a large overhead hazard. As a result, the Kingfisher Trail has been closed for the safety of visitors. Help us reroute to get this popular trail open to the public again! All help is greatly appreciated!

Tools are available, but you are welcome to bring your own as well. Please also bring water, work gloves, sunscreen, bug spray, and anything else you will need to stay comfortable while working.
