On September 30th from 4-7 pm, join Potomac Valley Master Naturalists at Cacapon State Park for a dedication of the Cacapon State Park Foundation memorial bench and plaque in Clark’s honor. The bench will be placed at the Thomas Ambrose Nature Center. It was decided to place the bench there as Clark spent many hours volunteering with park visitors. The Potomac Valley Master Naturalists will also have a White Oak tree to plant in his honor from the Cacapon Institute. Once this is concluded, we will move over to the fire pit to have a dinner of hot dogs, veggie dogs, brats, and smores which will all be roasted over the fire. If you have roasting sticks, please bring them. If you choose, have your stories or memories of Clark ready to share. The Potomac Valley Master Naturalist chapter will provide the food and water.
