Christmas Bird Counts have been an Audubon Society tradition for over 100 years!

This event is free and open to the public. Registration information is below.

Join a team of birders and head out in the field – no experience necessary! This is a great opportunity for beginners to work alongside seasoned birders.

After spending the day searching for birds, you are welcome to join us for the 5:00 p.m. potluck dinner and Tally Rally at the Mt. Aetna Nature Center, just outside of Hagerstown.
