Wondering how to spend a chilly Saturday morning in December? We’re offering a fun and easy project for you and the family!

In partnership with our friends at Sunny Meadows Garden Center, we’re hosting a Build a Bird Feeder workshop on Saturday, December 14th at our Cool Spring Preserve Nature Center.

Using the provided, prepared materials, you’ll construct a bird feeder similar to the one pictured above. If you don’t consider yourself a handyman, no need to worry, you’ll receive plenty of guidance from our workshop leaders.

Each participant will leave with a handmade bird feeder and a small jar of bird seed for our feathered friends (this close to the holiday season, we can’t think of a better homemade gift than that!)

This program is open to all, but we do ask that participating children be aged 7 years or older. Please complete and submit the form below to register. Fees are refundable if cancellations are made at least 24 hours prior to the event, or, if PVAS needs to cancel due to low registration numbers or inclement weather.

In the event of cancellation on our part, registrants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
