Bird Walk at the USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center

Join Beth Poole and Robin Johnson for a morning bird walk at USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center!
PVAS Host: Beth Poole, Robin Johnson
Free and open to the public. This program is for adults. Registration is required and limited to 10 participants.
Stroll with the birds and other PVAS bird enthusiasts at the USGS center in Leetown! Birders of all experience levels are welcome to join us as we get to know the sights and sounds of our resident birds and some visitors on their migratory paths. The property has a mix of open ponds and woods, with excellent wetland quality and diverse bird species!
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes and bring along drinking water.
Pace: Leisurely (meandering, many breaks to stop and observe)
Terrain: The route is generally flat, with some gradual hills.
Distance: Less than 1 mile
About Robin: Robin works for the USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center.
About Beth: Beth is a retired school teacher who has always loved nature and being outdoors, with a passion for birds and gardening. She is an amateur photographer, taking lots of pictures of birds, nature, and family. She adores her two grandchildren!!!
