Join PVAS for its first BioBlitz at Cool Spring Preserve in partnership with the American Conservation Film Festival and Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

Learn how to use iNaturalist as you explore the trails searching for fish, birds, stream critters, plants, and insects. Visit with scientists who will share their knowledge and discoveries along the way.

Upload your discoveries and observations to iNaturalist to help PVAS document species at its newest preserve at the conclusion of the program, and enjoy the “Backyard Wilderness” exhibit while it is on display at Cool Spring Preserve.

You are invited to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the preserve afterwards.
