Art Inspired by Nature: Polymer Clay & Nature’s Bounty: A Uniquely Beautiful Wall Hanging
Saturday, November 16, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Workshop Instructor: Linda Case
PVMN Continuing Education Eligible
The Polymer Clay Workshop is open to the public and no previous experience is necessary, however registration is required and limited to seven participants. Please register below. All materials will be provided and costs covered through the registration fee.
Join us at Cool Spring Preserve for a fun, inspiring class on using nature themes to create a unique wall hanging. Dress casually and bring only yourself, as all materials and tools will be provided. Consider this a mini-vacation while you learn simple techniques for working with polymer clay, natural materials, stamps and textures. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind wall hanging ready for display.
Linda Case has been working in polymer clay for over a decade. She now uses the clay as one of her primary sources for her mixed media work. “I love the clay’s versatility and its ability to partner, to create surprising results, to be forgiving. It’s a perfect medium for both the beginner and the artist requiring few expenditures.”
Case is a member of the Over the Mountain Studio Tour and shows at the juried Burwell Mill spring and fall shows as well as WoodsFest.
