2022 United Way Day of Caring
Tuesday, September 13, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
In collaboration with the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle, PVAS will be hosting the Day of Caring at Stauffer’s Marsh Nature Preserve!
We have a very special project planned that has been 7 years in the making! We will be installing a wheelchair accessible trail along the West Pond Trail down to the marsh viewing platform. Most of the labor will include moving dirt and may be quite intensive.
Everyone is welcome! No experience necessary. If you have a little energy and interest we have a task for you!
Lunch is provided but you are welcome to pack your own food. Please bring a refillable water bottle as we have extra water for refills during the day. Gloves and tools are available, but you are welcome to bring your own. (Just please make sure they are marked with your name.)
Can’t volunteer? Consider making a donation towards the supplies necessary to complete the projects!
Contact KC Walters with any questions or concerns. (304) 283-7319 or katelyn@potomacaudubon.org
In case of rain, we will reschedule the project to Tuesday, September 20.
PLEASE REGISTER BELOW SO WE KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE TO EXPECT!
