Did you know that everyone can be a land steward? Regardless of how large or small your property is, you can do things to foster wildlife! Create wildlife habitat in your own backyard or at your workplace. A backyard wildlife habitat contains all of the parameters wildlife need to survive including food, water and shelter. This habitat may also incorporate necessities required to raise young, like nest boxes and utilize other sustainable practices such as composting or rainwater collection.
