Helping Conserve the Natural World
PVAS participates in a variety of conservation activities throughout its service area including Chimney Swift, grassland birds, and wildlife habitat restoration, as well as initiatives focused on pollinators, including Monarch butterflies.
Our annual birdseed sale and spring/fall native plant sales are fundraising events that help us maintain 500+ acres of habitat at our natures preserves in Jefferson, Berkeley and Morgan counties. Please get in touch with our Associate Director of Conservation and Operations, KC Walters, at katelyn@potomacaudubon.org, with any questions about our conservation efforts.
