Potomac Valley Audubon Society is a small non-profit organization, so our resources are somewhat limited in the advocacy realm. To help guide our priorities and positions, we have an approved to help us prioritize and approve any action. In October of 2018, we released a statement. In January of 2025, we released an opposition statement on the proposed water bottling facility in Middleway, WV.

WV Rivers-“Our mission is to conserve and restore West Virginia’s exceptional rivers and streams. We value clean water as the foundation of life. We believe that all people should respect and be able to enjoy clean West Virginia rivers and streams. We operate under the premise that inclusive and diverse civic engagement is the key to building political power to affect change”
