Music in the Cedars
Unfortunately, Music in the Cedars will not be offered during the Summer of 2012.
Join us for a mellow evening at the Yankauer Preserve to enjoy local musicians performing with the cedar forest providing the backdrop. Musicians generously volunteer their time and talent to the event so the public can enjoy the performances free of charge.
Performances take place from 6:30-7:30pm on Tuesdays in August and September. The concerts take place under the open-air pavilion rain or shine. Guests are welcome to take a hike before or after the music.
Those who attend the concerts are welcome to bring their own picnic suppers but the preserve does not have trash pickup, so everyone is asked to carry out everything they bring in.
Picnic tables will be available in the pavilion on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees may also bring their own chairs or picnic blankets for their comfort. Please leave pets at home.
