Music in the Cedars

Music in the Cedars We'd love to bring the program back this summer!  If you would be willing to coordinate the program by recruiting and scheduling musicians, please let us know by contacting Kristin Alexander at Kristin@PotomacAudubon.org

Join us for a mellow evening at the Yankauer Preserve to enjoy local musicians performing with the cedar forest providing the backdrop.  Musicians generously volunteer their time and talent to the event so the public can enjoy the performances free of charge.

Performances take place from 6:30-7:30pm on Tuesdays in September. The concerts take place under the open-air pavilion rain or shine. Guests are welcome to take a hike before or after the music.

Those who attend the concerts are welcome to bring their own picnic suppers but the preserve does not have trash pickup, so everyone is asked to carry out everything they bring in.

Picnic tables will be available in the pavilion on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees may also bring their own chairs or picnic blankets for their comfort, but we ask that you please leave pets at home.

Past performers have included:

Daryl Bryarly
Steve Cifala
Todd Coyle
Michael DeLalla
The Dilletantes
Erik Janus
Bob Keel & Jodi Jones
Gregorio Lacerda
David LaFleur

Greg Lloyd & the Kids
