Cost: $60 for general public and $50 for PVAS Members

Join Matt Orsie for this Natural History Workshop, Introduction to Butterflies. The goal of the workshop is to introduce the wonderful world of our scaled friends to anyone seeking to learn more about these remarkable creatures.

The main topics to be covered in this workshop:
1. Introduction to Butterflies
2. Life cycle
3. Identification
4. Common species in our area

The workshop begins with a 2 hour classroom session at the National Conservation Training Center, Room #156 IW .
The field trip will run within a one hour drive of the WV eastern panhandle on a flexible schedule on Saturday May 24 with Sunday May 25 as the rain date. 

This workshop is open to the public however registration is required and is limited to 16 participants.

Participants should wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring along water, bug spray, sunscreen and a snack or bag lunch on the field trip.
