Join Sandy Sagalkin and the Monarch Alliance for their Monarch Alliance Meeting.

This event is open to members of the Monarch Alliance and PVAS.  Anyone who is interested in working on monarch conservation is welcome to attend this event (registration is required).

The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a bird walk on the trails of NCTC. Following the walk, there will be a meeting of the Monarch Alliance’s coordinating committee from 11 - 12.  Anyone attending the bird walk who is not a member of the coordinating committee and who wishes to stay for later programs must also attend the meeting of the coordinating committee (non-employees are not free to roam the grounds).
Participants are welcome to purchase lunch at noon in the NCTC commons.  At one o’clock, there will be a meeting of the general membership, including those that want to become members.  The meeting is expected to last one hour. Following the membership meeting, there will be time to walk around and see NCTC’s monarch waystation and stands of milkweed.

Registration for this event is required and participants will need to show a valid ID at the security station upon entering NCTC.  Registration closes on Monday, April 24.

Please contact Sandy Sagalkin at or 240-291-6465 with any questions you may have.
