What was life like 200 years ago?!  Who lived here before us?  We'll learn the ways of life of native people and the early pioneers.  Learn how to use resources from the land to make our own games, food, and tools.  Build a shelter for our tribe, weave on a lap loom, make berry ink, write with a quill, and make fish print bandanas.

  • Before and After Care is provided at camps at Cool Spring Preserve.  Fees are $25 per week for mornings (7:30-9:00 am) and $50 per week for afternoons (3:00-5:30 pm).
  • Non-PVAS members pay the higher price for the first child only.  All other children in your family may be enrolled at the lower price.
  • If you wish to reserve your spot with a $50 non-refundable deposit or pay your fee by check rather than online, please contact daycamp@potomacaudubon.org BEFORE you register.
  • Campers should dress in clothes that can get dirty!  Bring a lunch and morning snack, water in a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and bug repellent.
  • T-shirts must be ordered by May 15 to ensure delivery at camp.  If your child is attending multiple camp sessions, you only need to order a shirt once unless you want additional shirts.
