Time: 9:00am–1:30pm
Yankauer Nature Preserve                        Ages: 5-6 (entering grades K-1)

This session is designed just for campers who are ready to come to camp on their own, but for a shorter day without a parent.  Explore insects, mammals, birds, and the forest through hands-on activities. Spend time in the woods hiking and building a fort, too!

  • Non-PVAS members pay the higher price for the first child only.  Other children in your family may be enrolled at the lower price.
  • If you wish to reserve your spot with a $50 non-refundable deposit, please contact before you register.
  • Campers should dress in clothes that can get dirty!  Bring a lunch and morning snack, water in a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and bug repellent.
  • T-shirts must be ordered by May 30 to ensure delivery at camp.
