Spend three amazing days discovering Stauffer’s Marsh in Back Creek Valley!  Explore the water and the critters that live there, learn to identify birds and ducks, go creek walking in Back Creek, make an art project using the natural supplies you find in a wetland, and go marsh walking.  Things will be primitive (tents will provide shelter), but wetlands are a magical place, just waiting for you to arrive.

  • Non-PVAS members pay the higher price for the first child only.  Other children in your family may be enrolled at the lower price.
  • If you wish to reserve your spot with a $50 non-refundable deposit, please contact Ellen@PotomacAudubon.org before you register.
  • Campers should dress in clothes that can get dirty!  Bring a lunch and morning snack, water in a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and bug repellent.
  • T-shirts must be ordered by May 30 to ensure delivery at camp.
  • Complete information about what to bring to camp, directions to camp, and other things parents want to know, is found at www.PotomacAudubon.org/discovercamp.
