Can you build a bird’s nest as well as a bird?  How about a beehive as well as a bee?  Spend this week designing and constructing things with natural materials and see how your creations compare to the real thing. In addition to animal homes, try your hand erecting a tower, building a boat, making mud pies—and of course, building a fort that is actually weather-proof!  Every day it will be a different challenge to see if you are the master builder in the woods.

  • Non-PVAS members pay the higher price for the first child only.  Other children in your family may be enrolled at the lower price.
  • If you wish to reserve your spot with a $50 non-refundable deposit, please contact Ellen@PotomacAudubon.org before you register.
  • Campers should dress in clothes that can get dirty!  Bring a lunch and morning snack, water in a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and bug repellent.
  • T-shirts must be ordered by May 30 to ensure delivery at camp.
  • Complete information about what to bring to camp, directions to camp, and other things parents want to know, is found at www.PotomacAudubon.org/discovercamp.
