PVAS is pleased to let our friends know about Cacapon Institute's Stream Scholars Camp for middle school students.

Stream Scholars will meet, learn, and work with youth from across the Potomac Headwaters as they use field techniques and laboratory equipment to test water quality in the Cacapon and Potomac Rivers. Scholars explore West Virginia’s connection to the Chesapeake Bay and learn the important role we all play in protection local waters and the Bay. Learn stream sampling protocols in Jefferson County, take a canoe trip, then travel to The Mountain Institute at Spruce Knob WV for more adventure and learning!

Designed for middle school-aged students.

Cost is $200.  Scholarships are available.
