Join us for this absolutely fascinating Natural History Workshop on the Timber Rattlesnake.
W. H. Martin, ecologist, is lead author and co-editor of "The Timber Rattlesnake Conservation Action Plan", a multi-authored (over 50 authors) volume which is being written in cooperation with the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
Mr. Martin will share his expert knowledge about the snake's life history, seasonal activities and habitats.
The Workshop is open to anyone with an interest, however registration is required. Registration will be limited to 30 participants.
Directions to Hospice of the Panhandle:
Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430 (across the street from the Kearneysville Food Lion)
From WV Route 9, take the Short Road exit. If traveling east, take a left off the exit. If traveling west, take a right off the exit. Follow to the stop light at Sheetz. Turn right. Take the next left across from Food Lion onto Hospice Lane. Follow the road back. The office will be on your left (the inpatient will be on your right). The door to enter for the PVAS Program is to the right of the main office door.
